Top 10 Pin Trading Locations
Number 7 - Olympic and Paralympic Village, Vancouver
Overview:
The Olympic and Paralympic Village is located on the southeast side of False Creek in Vancouver and features new low- and mid-rise apartment buildings and other community amenities.
With close proximity to the competition venues, athletes will be able to walk or take a short bus ride to the city’s shopping and entertainment districts and can enjoy the nightly Victory Ceremonies and cultural celebrations just over the Cambie Street Bridge at BC Place Stadium.
Olympic Winter Games planned population: 2,730
Paralympic Winter Games planned population: 350
After the Games, the Village will be the first phase of a model sustainable community known as Southeast False Creek. It will house approximately 3,000 residents in 1,100 units, including 250 affordable housing units and 100 rental units.
Potential Pin Trading Locations:
The closer you get to the Village, the tighter the security ... naturally. But there should be good trading locations on the approaches, the side streets and the sea wall walkway to and from the Village provided they are open to the public.
The sea wall walkway will link up near Science World to the approach to BC Place Stadium - site of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and nightly Victory Celebrations - which was described in an earlier Top 10 feature.

Transportation Options:
Leave the car at home. Take Skytrain to either the Main Street - Science World Station on the Expo Line, or the Olympic Village Station on the Canada Line. The Olympic and Paralympic Village is just a short walk from either of these stations.
