Richmond 2009 Olympin Collectors Club Show

August 13, 2009

It's a wrap ... and thank you to everyone !!

The six-month countdown to the Opening Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games -- the XXI Winter Games of the Modern Olympiad -- seems an appropriate day to offer thanks to those corporations and individuals that made the the Richmond 2009 Olympin Collectors Club Show possible.

We are most grateful for the support received from the City of Richmond, Richmond Olympic Oval, BC Lottery Corporation, Coca-Cola, CTV, RONA and Tourism Richmond.

We wish to acknowledge and thank our special guest speakers: Canadian Olympian and RONA 2010 Olympic Ambassador Georgina Wheatcroft, and Coca-Cola representative Pete Canalichio.

We also wish to acknowledge and thank the Olympin Collectors Club for allowing the Pacific Pin Club Society to host the 28th Annual Olympin Show, and especially all of the pin collectors and members of the public who attended the three-day extravaganza.

We look forward to seeing more and more residents and vistors being "bitten" by the pin collecting bug before, during and long, long after the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games.

Until the next time ... we wish you all good trading and good collecting.

Be sure to check out the Show's extensive media coverage.
