Show Location:

Richmond Olympic Oval, 6111 River Road, Richmond 1 778 296-1400
www.richmondoval.com

The Show Location is not in a room, hall or enclosed area of any kind. It will be on part of the apron surrounding an active and working long-track speed skating oval in a multi-purpose building that is open to the public, holds sport day camps, and has facility tours and visiting speed skating teams and coaches from the world over.

Because of this, you may expect far more of the public to attend the Show and far less time for delegate table-hopping than past shows. And with three separate entrances to the Oval, every table will have an excellent location.

The Weather inside the Show Location:

The speed skating ice surface is quite close to where the tables are set up and, as such, you may want to bring a sweater or light jacket to compensate for the lower temperature inside the venue.

Parking at Show Location:

For those of you who are driving, the entrance to the underground parking lot is at the West end of the Oval. Once you enter the lot, be sure to immediately turn left and park as close to the entrance as you can. That’s because there is a handy elevator at the top of the ramp that will take you from the parking lot almost to the Show location on the track apron.

The signage states the first three hours are free. You must leave the lot at the end of the Show each night. The building is locked at 10:00 PM.

Overnight Secure Storage:

We have arranged for overnight secure storage immediately adjacent to the Show location should you wish to use it. Your storage options include leaving your displays and inventory at your table (the site will be surrounded by stanchions and velvet rope), using the secure storage, and either moving your displays and inventory to your vehicle or back to your hotel room. The building is locked at 10:00 PM.

Please note, the City of Richmond, 0827805 B.C. Ltd., the Richmond Oval Corporation and the Pacific Pin Club Society assume no liability whatsoever for any injury or accident, or any items lost or stolen, while you are a guest at any facility or in areas adjacent to these facilities.

Business Licence for all Cash Transactions:

Your Host Committee has applied and paid for a City of Richmond Business Licence for any and all cash transactions that may occur at the event. This ensures we will not break any City of Richmond By-Laws or regulations and will assure you an environment where you can sell for cash if you wish.

Social Location:

Richmond Curling Club, 5540 Hollybridge Way, Richmond 1 604 278-1722
